Modification of DIVORCE Judgments

After you are divorced your circumstances may change. Modifications address changes in the status or circumstance of divorced people. Addressing these changes is never easy since change is usually difficult.
Adams Law Group is committed to helping individuals seek or defend court modifications when appropriate, in an efficient manner.
Modifications generally involve one or some of the following:
  • Custody
  • Child support
  • Visitation
  • Maintenance/Alimony
  • Relocation
  • College expenses
  • Changed financial circumstances
For example, if a individual is moving far enough away to interfere with the original divorce agreement as to visitation, a modification may be in order. If a parent does not agree to the move the refusal becomes a motion to modify. When children are involved the best interests of the children must be considered at all times. It is essential that you consult with a well informed attorney before you take the next step with your children. We carefully consider all you available options as we represent you.
